The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks

Before I (Chloe) summarize this for you, I have to say, it is one of the best books I have ever read! It is hilarious and well written.
Frankie Landau-Banks, AKA Bunny Rabbit to her family, is a mildly geeky girl who is attending a very competitive charter school (high school). The first year she attended her older sister, Zada, was there to help her get around. Starting her second year, her sister has graduated and Frankie has gained 20 pounds "in all the right places." As the year takes off, she gets a senior boyfriend who Frankie has adored since she met him. Matthew invites Frankie to a golf course party, which becomes the start of their relationship. Matthew plans many dates with Frankie, but right before he takes her he usually has to leave and meet with he best friend, Alpha. One night Frankie follows him, because she has gotten so annoyed with his leaving. Matthew turns out to be in a secret club called The Loyal Order of the Basset Hounds. The club had been around since 1950, and her father, who was a member when he attended the school had told her a little bit about it, but just enough so she was curious but didn't know anything. Because Frankie gets upset that her boyfriend is lying to her and ditching her on their dates, she decides to take advantage of the club when one of the "kings," Alpha, leaves. Frankie creates a fake email address and tells the club to carry out a different plan for Halloween. The day after Halloween, the paintings hanging in the halls of the charter school's previous headmasters were wearing bras. The club thought it was a great idea and when Alpha came back, he took all the credit for it, even though he didn't know what had happened. Frankie performed a few more pranks this way until finally, Alpha was cornered and was about to get expelled for his vandalism. Frankie finally comes forward and confesses that the pranks were hers and both Alpha and Frankie were kept at the school. Frankie ended up breaking up with Matthew because he thought she was lying to him once he found out, but really he was the one lying about the club. When Frankie went home for Thanksgiving, her family didn't know what to think of her because, obviously, she was no longer their "Bunny Rabbit." PLEASE READ THE BOOK EVEN IF YOU HAVE READ THIS SUMMARY (I suggest that kids no younger than 11 read this book because of certain contents)! IT IS A GREAT BOOK AND I LEFT OUT MANY PARTS! If you do read it, enjoy!
